Southwood Hickory Hope Apartments

As part of the redevelopment of the Southwood mobile home park just outside the city of Charlottesville, Piedmont Housing Alliance engaged BRW to design one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, along with apartments that meet the accessibility standards set by the Americans with Disabilities Act. All apartments are available at affordable rents with income restrictions.

At Hickory Hope, you will find highly energy efficient apartments that come with free high-speed internet service, full kitchen and laundry appliances, and central air and heat. The community features off-street parking, fitness and community rooms, and elevators serving all floors. Greenspace surrounds the buildings and provides connections to trails and nearby Biscuit Run Park.
