Lia Keesecker holds the prestigious honor of having been hired by Bruce before her husband, now-Principal Kurt Keesecker. Prior to living, working, and raising their family in Charlottesville, Lia worked for Gensler in New York, where she was raised. She and Kurt both attended the college of architecture + design at University of Tennessee Knoxville, where they met.

She and Kurt designed and built their home in the Belmont neighborhood of Charlottesville. Lia is also an accomplished runner, traveler and an episodic outdoor enthusiast. At BRW, Lia currently specializes in working with our longtime institutional clients including Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital and the University of Virginia Foundation.
